Exploring another part of mountain view..
Yesterday, we went and looked at this town home on sherland ave, around the middlefield road/whisman road intersection. The house is about 25 years old, but again like all other mountain view residences, has a very rustic feel to it.
The cool part of the home, is that the 3rd bedroom is actually on the first floor with access to a full bath. This is helpful, especially when parents and in-laws visit us. The guests have the floor to themselves and so will we ;)
I also fell in love in the kitchen. It had a spanish theme to it, with cobalt blue tile counter top and murals on the back splash. The appliances were black and chrome with a maple laminate flooring. Sumati is surprised that I am even noticing the kitchen ;) I think I'll start cooking if we get this home.
The living room has cathedral ceilings and very interesting range of colors painted on the wall. The garage is extremely organized with built-in cabinets on both walls. Enough to hide most of the stuff we have and even more.
The backyard overlooks a small pond and the swimming pool. The community is pet-friendly as well, which makes it easier to decide.
So we're pumped and we're going in. I mean not moving in, but trying to ;)
We're writing up an offer this AM. Don't want to bring our past two rejections' emotionality into this and mess it up. We'll take one home at a time, think objectively and then offer what we think is right.
Lets see. As usual offers are reviewed tomorrow evening at 5pm. Nervously expecting kumar's call.............
